I would suggest everyone refers to the 8mm film in which Ip Man demonstrated the proper movements and structure of CK. I see many techniques missing or done incorrectly by those three practitioners when I compared their form to the 8mm film. No one can raise the standard of Ip Man WC when no one follows the basic standard from Ip Man; it is something for all of us to ponder with…….
Something also to ponder for context is that Ip Man was a few weeks away from death when he shot those videos and often had to pause to rest. As well as the fact that Ip Man played certain things in the forms differently for himself because of his height, as well as that he taught students to do the forms differently at different times. GM Moy Yat talked about that, how some of his older brothers were taught to do a form one way by Ip Man, but when Ip Man taught him, he said to do it a different way, and that neither were wrong, just different expressions. So it all needs to be viewed within context instead of gospel.
The movements of the forms are fundamentals of WC, just like the alphabets, words of characters of a language. There is no need what so ever to chance our alphabets, or ‘interpret’ the forms on an individual base; only in applications is when we ‘express’ the form differently to reflect one’s own character.
Why Chum Kil in slow motion?
👍!

林主文表演的寻桥 为何坐马屁股凸后 大开眼界 😵
What familly was the third demonstration from?
you mean the black shirt guy ? he is wong shun leung lineage, his sifu is cheng tze ping, cheng tze ping was a student of wan kam leung.
If you knew Cantonese and understood what they said in the video, you would have a totally new perspective in Hong Kong WC.
